Inner Critic Quiz
Meet your inner critic
Almost everyone has a voice in their head that judges them. This quiz helps you notice which patterns yours uses most, so you can start answering back. Twelve statements, about two minutes. There are no right or wrong answers.
Your loudest inner critic patterns
This is not a diagnosis or a score on you as a person. It is a snapshot of the habits your self-talk has fallen into lately, and habits can change.

A gentle note
Your answers suggest the voice in your head is being very hard on you. If it often tells you that you are worthless, unlovable or a burden, that is not the truth about you, and it is a sign to get some support. Please talk to someone you trust: a parent, a teacher or your school counsellor.
You can also talk to someone free, any time: Childline 116 or the SADAG Suicide Crisis Helpline 0800 567 567 (both 24 hours).

The most useful question to ask your inner critic is: would I say this to someone I love who was in the same situation?
