The Eight Domains of Wellness
Wellness is a broad term that cannot be defined simply. How we think about wellness is mostly affected by our upbringing, our culture and our unique experiences. I believe that wellness is a conscious, self-directed and evolving phenomenon, the balance of which is unique to each individual. It is holistic and multidimensional.
In order to flourish, attention should be paid to all dimensions of wellness, not necessarily equally, attuned to each person’s unique lifestyle and experiences. The goal is to find the ideal state for YOUR own wellness, a personal harmony with the dimensions that brings out the most authentic version of YOU.
Wellness is not a passive process, Indeed, it requires mindful awareness, acceptance and active commitment on a daily basis. It is my hope that by differentiating the posts, products and services of What WayD Says according to their domain, it will help you get started in refining your wellness plan.
