Book Review: How to be a Single Muslim Mum” by Samar Asamoah
I was honoured when Sister Samar Asamoah from Niqabi Diaries Podcast included me as an Advanced Reader for her new book, How to be a Single Muslim Mum. Although the topic itself is not directly relevant to me, reading this book offered me a beautiful perspective on the challenges and triumphs faced by single Muslim mothers, as well as some helpful advice that I was able to take from it.
Samar’s writing is warm and conversational, making it feel like she was sitting on the sofa beside me, having a heartfelt chat with a close friend. She covers a range of topics, from dealing with a bad marriage to finding balance in daily life, all while grounding her advice in Islamic principles.
